In the sweet embrace of nature
The sun gently set
A star amidst the pink-tipped indigo
My wayward eyes had met
Distant chimes beckoned the divines
We lost our way in the snow-covered pines
Dancing like wild spirits
In melody’s delight
I gazed at the heavens
And cherished the night
Slowly fading were icy coastlines
We lost our way in the snow-covered pines
Gone were the thoughts composed
By bards of our home
Humanity, in a dream-filled haze
Came and went like the sea’s frothy foam
Gone were the maidens of distant shorelines
We lost our way in the snow-covered pines
Stumbling through the dream-like wood
Fire shed light on nature’s feast
Sirens adorned us in flowers and robe
And to the rapture we were released
Losing myself in mind-numbing wines
We lost our way in the snow-covered pines
Merely echoes we became
In the procession of ages
I no longer recalled
The warnings of sages
Lost was I in illusion’s designs
We had lost our way in the snow-covered pines
Devoured by fate 'til the cosmos aligns
To be plucked from slumber in the snow-covered pines
