Why is there an interruption?

Have you awaken from your slumber?
Does the mind once again being encumbered?
Is the Earth quaking with your thoughts?
Why are you disturbed and so many ideas are being wrought.
Arise from your bed to berate,
why you cannot sleep, but you perpetuate.
Overthinking has put you into a non compos mentis,
worrying about things of the past and present, given way to distress,
do you grip onto your bed and hope for rest,
Or arise and give your thoughts a test?
You go out into the night,
Opening the door, hoping your soul will take flight.
Looking to the heavens, the moon, and the stars,
the mind still remains within it’s own bars.
Can you touch the heavens?
Will the moon and stars remove you from your sleep deprivation?
Ponder the skies, yet you wonder why,
the thoughts created this awakening dismiss them the best you can try.
The night is wondrous and amazing,
everything you dream of looking up gazing,
Yet it is sleep, is where they should be,
Dream, disavow your thoughts and agree,
the past is the past, the present will be gone.
Stop being disquieted with things that have been wrong.
Close that door, back to bed, stay in a trance,
The night will always be there, don’t ever go back out to take a glance.
Allow your soul in hopeful dreams, take flight.
Pardon the interrupton, everything will be alright.
