Full Moon

To the east a ribbon of silver outlines the rocky horizon,
And to the west a golden hue is fading below the the Desert floor.
The Moon continues her rise as her minion of Stars work their magic.

She reveals herself in full glory; calling for me to do the same,
And the Wolf within me responds, guiding my spirit in flight.
We fly over ranges, valleys and coastal plain to the Ocean’s shore.

The Moon lights the way as my Wolf and I soar above the earth,
And her magical reflection shimmers with sensuality on the water.
I am drawn to the Ocean, wanting to see my own spirit reflected.

The tide swells and I let the Ocean wash over me as I am pulled into an embrace,
And I taste the saltiness, like tears of ecstasy shed by the Universe.
I feel the pleasure of the Ocean around me; inside of me.

I glisten with the Ocean as I rise from the water, feeling more than myself,
And I recognize my own spirit as it reflects back to the night sky.
I am more than the Wolf.  I am the Moon, the Stars and the Ocean.
