The Skies

The sky whispered secrets of enchantment.

It cast a spell over the vast wilderness where only the sound of my own heartbeat and the distant call of my kin pierced the silence, the world still untamed and vibrant without the hushed echoes of solitude to follow.

That cerulean expanse offered a intertwining for my yearnings, and my gaze traced the tendrils of clouds,

I often stood on the tips of my paws, gently arching my back towards the myriad forms, and dreamed of soaring among those silver lining tufts that sail with no anchor.

I long to plait them within my fur.

Then I could carry their wonder with me forever, a lone wolf with a sky-bound heart.
