I saw that you were struggling,
I tried to take away your pain,
Despite how very hard I tried,
It was all done in vain,
I tried to wipe away your tears,
Pull you away from all the torment,
I didn’t know the full story,
And how deep the horrors went,
I held your hand when no one else did,
I tried to catch you when you fell,
You didn’t deserve the torture,
And the child hood from hell,
I loved you when you thought no one could,
And held you through the night,
I tried my best to fix you,
But I couldn’t make it right,
The lid of life had been opened,
You couldn’t escape the past,
The dormant demons destroying you,
Your young life was over so fast,
Many would often judge you,
They didn’t know the truth,
Behind the sordid events you encountered,
Few only knew the real you,
You never deserved such an impact,
The harrowing scars that you bore,
In heaven the angels will now keep you safe,
And you will not be hurt any more
