They are the voices of the trees

Amidst the rustling leaves,
Beneath the towering trees,
Whispers can be heard,
Of voices pleading to be freed.

They are the voices of the trees,
Singing a sorrowful song,
For their home is in danger,
And their future seems long gone.

Their once lush greens,
Now slowly fading away,
As deforestation takes its toll,
With each passing day.

But these trees are not alone,
For they are not the only ones at stake,
Their cries are joined by others,
Whose existence is now at stake.

Creatures big and small,
Inhabit these ancient woods,
But their homes are being destroyed,
By the greed of man’s goods.

In this symphony of pleas,
Nature’s harmony is disrupted,
As the forest’s voices grow weaker,
And its inhabitants are disrupted.

But we can change this tune,
And rewrite this sad melody,
By standing up for the trees,
And protecting their legacy.

Let our words be the shield,
For the forest and its species,
And let our actions speak louder,
In the face of this crisis.

For the trees are more than just timber,
And the animals more than just prey,
They are a vital part of our world,
And we must ensure they stay.

So let us raise our voices,
In defense of the forest,
And let our poetry be the weapon,
To protect what is truly precious.

Let us be the guardians,
Of the trees and all they hold,
For their voices may be silent,
But their message must be told.

Voces de los árboles,
Let us hear their plea,
For their survival is in our hands,
And their fate is now up to you and me.
