Watercolors

Watercolors
All paints so creamy
From the drowned emotions smeared of the girl who is dreamy
Strokes of the watery happiness are gleaming
While these feelings permeate themselves in the picture so cleanly
You don’t even notice
How I streak together these words to paint the portrait of a beautiful girl
Oil Paint
Reveals that neither myself nor the girl are saints
A smudge to her past and best strokes to her future, a halo painted ever so faint
Her mind is a place that I am willing to escape
While these feelings spill themselves into the canvas so vividly
You don’t even notice
How I mesh together these words to paint the portrait of a enticing girl
The Pencils
Finishing touches to refine the beauty she entails are essential
Nothing in her is dark so shading is gentle
Time between us shows our potential
Several rebels stuck on her mental
I am the differential
Pastels
Like her, so hard but so plush
Would rather not swim in her pinks and reds
More focused on chalks of the gray matter in her head
Image the Scream with no echo
The Mona Lisa with no mellow
She’s her own attraction grip eyes like a lens lasso
She’s my Picasso
Pulled through the canvas only to be lost with her
In the painting’s limbo.
