Exploring the path of Joy

In the whispers of the wind, I seek,
The echoes of joy, so soft and meek.
Is it in achievements, grand and bold?
Or in simplicity, where treasures unfold?
 
 
Perhaps it’s in the song of a bird,
Or in the beauty of each spoken word.
Yet as I ponder, doubts arise,
In this realm where happiness lies.
 
 
For in the depths of my own soul,
I find emotions, beyond control.
Confusion reigns, as I search within,
To define the happiness I’m in.
 
 
So I wander through life’s winding track,
In pursuit of joy, never looking back.
With each step, a question anew,
Are you happy? I wish I knew.
