The strength within
It’s not right and feels unfair to many close to home
There s pain and fear we see it every hour and those who feel alone
One thing is clear there is battles greater than we understand
These are the ones fighting hardest for their home and land.
Each test is different to the next we face, a fresh approach you ll need
Keep focus on the tasks ahead listen & take heed
Remembering that there is so much you will want to learn this time
In preparation for the next who ll need you by their side
I write these words with many people in my mind each day
The past & present whilst our future generation is at stake
We must recognise what has been done but keep momentum strong
In time we know we ll look back and see the right from wrong
Perhaps these words mean more to some, and clarity arrives
What does it mean to you, your closest friends your family, their lives?
One day it may hit home these words were meant for you
You ll quickly know and see it clear
Together with strength it’s that you ll need to push you through
